Wanted Head of Islamic Bank for a leading bank in Kabul
Manage the staff assigned to the level determined by senior management.
Maintain revamp (Retail & Corporate) existing Asset Products to support all businesses of the Bank keeping in view the bank’s strategic focus
Maintain & revamp (Retail & Corporate) existing Liability Products to support all businesses of the bank keeping in view the bank’s strategic focus
Launch and implement new and innovative Shari’a compliant products (both Assets & Liabilities, retail and corporate) developed around market needs customer perceptions and the Bank’s requirement.
Partner with Retail and Corporate Teams for strategic tie-ups with companies/organizations and prepare special Shari’a package/product offers.
Assisting Training division for conducting product training to all departments all over Oman, covering the products assigned.
Partner with Operations, Consumer Risk, Compliance, IT and Legal Teams for simplifying the process and Documentation Pack for Shari’a compliant Asset products.
Ensuring the appropriate management of all the staff in terms of work load, attendance, KPIs , mentoring , training.
Develop staff assigned to progress through Shari’a banking to senior levels.
Launch and implement new Sharia compliant products for privilege banking department to capture higher market share which includes Assets, Liabilities and investment products.
Ensure compliance with the correct process/approvals of concerned business units, Sharia, Legal and Operation Departments.
Produce proper workflow for each new product (Asset & liabilities) after obtaining the necessary approvals.
Conduct market studies on the existing and new products to ensure its success in the market and expand the market share.

Desired Profile

Master Degree MBA holder in a related field
minimum of at least 10 years Islamic Banking Experience
be able to set up, head and manage an Islamic Banking Window within the Bank.

Develop the client business continuity strategy
Develop network design strategy as well as architect solutions to meet clients needs
Develop network diversity strategy to ensure network optimization and diversity
Understands complex client network topologies & develops solutions to business challenges
Create customer communication for notification of customer impacting events driven by grooms & maintenance activities
Develop Service Improvement Plan for network components at risk or below SLA’s
Performing analysis to document client components inclusive of critical locations, circuits and design nuances
