Hiring for a Senior Sous Chef for a Japanese Restaurant in Saudi Arabia

A great opportunity for a strong Sous Chef to join the team at this Japanese fine dining venue within this established restaurant group – Based in beautiful Riyadh, Saudi!

For this Senior Sous Chef role you will need high-end cuisine experience as either Snr CDP Tournant or Sous within a similar environment,

As Senior Sous Chef your role will entail menu development & implementation, staff training & mentorship, HACCAP capabilities & training – While assisting the Head Chef in running a profitable kitchen & manage costs!

Salary: SAR12,000 SAR per month (3200 USD) (Negotiable for outstanding candidates)

Requirements:
– Fluent English, good presentation and grooming
– Relevant experience in high end Independent Japanese restaurant is preferred.

Provided:
-Furnished accommodation in shared Management housing, including normal regular utilities costs;
-Local transportation to and from work provided by the company;
-local health insurance;
-Duty meals and laundered uniform provided;
-flight ticket to onboard the company (if you are located out of Saudi Arabia);
-paid 28 calendar vacation days, including one economy return ticket provided to country of residence or other country subject to agreement;

Brief job Description:
– To assist the Executive Chef in carrying out day to day duties to the best of your ability, with a constant regards to quality, high standards, cleanliness and presentation.
– To actively be involved in all areas in the kitchen, taking part in training and development with a view to progressing your career.
– To ensure standards of hygiene and cleanliness prevail with good practice in food safety, health and safety, and equipment use and maintenance.
– To be aware of proper use of ingredients and equipment, to help with effective stock management, to help minimize waste and to have proper regard for safety and security.
– To be an active contributor to the smooth operation of the business making sure that all team members co-operate and promote a positive atmosphere within the business.
To communicate with the Management and team as & when required, carrying out operational duties, financial reporting and costing.
