Technical Sales Coordinator

As a Technical Support Engineer you are the contact person for customers and colleagues with a technical question:

 

You analyze all the incoming technical questions from customers. You decide which questions you handle yourself and which ones you forward to the Project Engineers. Your customers are contractors,  engineering firms, inspection bodies, …;

Besides giving technical advice, you make engineering calculations. You prepare technical submittals and price quotations for large construction projects in consultation with the sales department;

On occasion you run jobsite tests and visit jobsites for the projects you are working on;

You follow-up the technical advice given and coordinate the necessary action with the project engineers and the sales team;

You work closely together with the marketing team for all technical documents and technical marketing of engineered solutions  ;

You will be part of the Engineering team and will report to the Technical Manager.

 

Profile

 

You have   Engineering  degree (construction or architecture);

You are a starter, or you have a first good experience in the construction industry;

You have a good knowledge of the construction processes. And you can easily deal with practical, construction strength calculations, reaction forces, …

You are proficient in MS Office and knowledge of CAD is a plus;

You have strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English,

You have a passion for construction and for technical advisory.

Your characteristics are: pro-active, customer oriented, team player, social, communicative;

You are interested in what other opportunities the construction industry has to offer than becoming for example a jobsite manager or a stability engineer.

Draughtsman Structural for Dubai

Position Overview
To create and amend all plans for the site accurately, ensuring the drawings are updated on AutoCAD and distributed appropriately. Core Job Functions
To make any AutoCAD changes to IFC drawings and sketches
To support the Design Team on RFI responses and DFC responses
To update drawings with design changes
To compile drawings of where tower cranes will be placed and where the hoists will radiate to
To create ALEC shop drawings and ALEC as built drawings on AutoCAD
To ensure all work is passed to the document controller for filing Requirements
Draughtsman certification
At least 3 years experience in Construction Design
Expert knowledge of AutoCAD
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

Technical Engineer

Position Overview
To manage a section of the build ensuring that the design is delivered accurately and that any changes are structurally sound and noted accordingly. Core Job Functions
To receive IFC drawings and sketches, taking action on the details
To take action on the RFI responses
To take action on the RFI responses
To take action on the engineers instructions
To receive and act on design changes
To complete work to the highest standard, ensuring a high quality product for the client
To be responsible for ensuring the draughtsman have the correct information for updating the ALEC shop drawings
To be involved in updates from the RFI’s
To be involved in updates from the DFC’s
To support the sub contractors in completing design calculations
To collect the information for as built drawings, passing it to the draughts man to complete the detailed drawing, then checking the details to ensure they are accurate
To support the sub contractor in producing as built drawings
To ensure all work is passed to the document controller for filing
To support the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries
To provide procurement details of supplies needed

Requirements
Diploma level educated
At least 2 years experience in Construction Design
Expert knowledge of AutoCAD
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

Education : Engineering Graduate

Experience : 6 yrs

Engineering graduate with quantity surveying knowledge with at least 3 years’ experience in monthly valuation and measurements for various project in a periodical manner. Should have working knowledge on MS office application and should be good in generating the required reports.

We require Candidate having experience in the same field for at least 10 Years.

 We require candidates with Gulf Experience and with GCC driving License.
